New cars are crazy expensive and less reliable than the same models a few years ago.

I see Ford trucks broke down on the highway all the time. Union made junk.

As someone who likes & prefers the smaller vehicle segment, all the vehicles that really interest me aren't even sold in the USA, regardless of brand. So, no temptation to buy anything.

The Ridgeline is not a real truck. It's an SUV with a bed on it and it's plain jane and mundane looking like all Hondas. The dash looks cheesy and cheap.

The numbers are wrong .. for example Ford Explorer has an estimated 3 month supply of unsold Explorers and they sell appx 20,000 units per month.. so they have more like 60,000 in stock and production lots , unsold ... your data state only 20,001 unsold Explorers which is not correct. Please recheck your numbers of unsold inventories for all of these models.

I live in the DFW area and see all day these dudes with these super 4x4 trucks with thousand dollar tires driving up and down 75 like fools. They probably work 60 hours a week and have a $1,350 a month car payment, put $125 a week in gas, and insurance is a house payment just to look like a tough guy. 90% of Americans do not need a pick up truck, but yet everyday someone will finance for 7 years a truck they don't need instead of saving and investing. America is in for a big change here shortly, and most people don't see the storm coming in their $65,000 daily driver going to work at a $60,000 a year job.

Don't buy any vehicle with a timing belt if you plan on keeping it for any length of time

I have to agree about the cabin noise. I took one out for a test drive and it was ridiculously loud in the cabin. Ask the sales man if it has some kind of modified exhaust on it or something and he said no that's the way they are. It was a deal-breaker for me, it was day and night coming from a ram.

The whole Ridgeline handling like a well mannered SUV is because it basically is an SUV with the back area removed. The Ridgeline and pilot are built off the same chasis. For that matter, it is a unibody, not even a full frame like a real truck.

I think what it is is people want a toyota and not spending too much if you're goinna spend that much money why not just get a better brand that's their thinking probably.

You need to update your ratings. The Nissan frontier has had zero recalls this year zero and it only had one recall last year for a tire bead issue. Honestly, the parking Paul transmission issue from 2 years ago was resolved in 22 and has not resurfaced. Therefore, I believe you will find Nissan at the top of the reliability list for 2025 and 24 should be a transition towards that.

I have one. Never a problem. Quirky but dependable. It will get you and your family home and that is good enough.

I love my 21 Ridgeline RTLE. Smooth and quiet. 2nd one, had an 06 too. RAM 1500 Hemi between the Ridgelines.

2017 ..5.0 w/six speed. Purchased new with extended 7 yr warranty ....dealer serviced. Month and a half out of warranty (118k on the clock) and the master cylinder goes bad. $509 to replace/repair. Other than a small leak from the oil pan gasket it's been a great ride.

If I needed a car, I'd find an air cooled VW.

And dealers still won't budge on price...my local dealers are still at MSRP or maybe 1% off MSRP. They wonder why their lots are filling up...🙄

Probably the top truck to avoid are trucks that are a first year redesign platform which would obviously be the 2024 Toyota Tacoma.😳👎

I love our Ridgeline trucks and only a fool would say it's not great for 95% of daily trucks or vehicles use.

I was a long term Acura customer, I was in the market to replace a MDX and RDX in 2023 but no Acura hybrid nor any plans for. We sadly moved to Lexus and purchased a RX350h and UX250h. Had they had a least on SUV hybrid model we would have stayed as we really like the brand.

We come to see you actually walk around the car as you give us your review and show us different features on them. Not hear a recorded voice over review with a few B rolls of the car and you in them. I think I can speak for the rest of your subscribers. We like to see you test-drive the car and walk around it as you give us your review like you used to do back in the days. I made so many on line offers out the door price, I’m asking for a little under MSRP, not including my trade and down payment, these are sitting on lots for a while, 23,24 dodge rams, some jeep gladiators, my email response from dealerships is that these are the best prices offered, bunch of BS I’m not getting any negotiation at all, 40 grand and up on these model years (no 2025 ) I’m like you don’t want to sell vehicles just sitting you think you’ll get them at higher pricing, they never responded I’m getting ignored, I email them back well you can let them to continue to rot on your lot
